Flat preview — the real plate follows the outline of the logo

Preview is indicative — we confirm exact proportions when we quote. It prints as one piece, with each colour printed into it in its own filament, so there is nothing glued on and nothing to peel off.

A PNG, JPEG or WebP picture, up to 8 MB. Logos in a few flat colours work best. Photos, shadows and soft shading do not trace well.

This is our own logo, as an example — turn it around, change its colours and size. Choose your picture above to see yours.

Your logo is still here. Choose the picture again only if you want to change how it is traced.

Turn it down if shades of one colour are coming out as separate colours; up if two colours are being merged.

Background

The picture's background is not printed — the plate shows there instead. If the wrong colour was taken for the background, use "Make this the background" on the right one below.

The plate, the loop and every colour of the logo come off the printer joined — nothing to glue and nothing to fall off.

The parts of this logo sit too far apart to join, even at the widest border we print. Try a larger size, or a version of the logo with its parts closer together.
The border was widened to mm for you. The parts of this logo don't touch, and the plate around them is what makes the keychain a single piece.
This logo has fine detail at this size, so we'll print it with our fine nozzle. It takes longer to print, which we allow for when we quote.
Some of this logo is too fine to print at this size.

Small lettering and thin lines may come out broken or not at all. A larger size helps most; so does a simpler version of the logo.

The plate narrows to about mm somewhere.

Usually the neck behind the keyring, sometimes a bridge between two parts of the logo. It will print, but it is the spot that snaps if the keychain gets yanked. A wider border or a larger size thickens it.

The loop is tucked in far enough to cut into the logo.

The keyring hole overlaps the logo, so it would print with a bite out of it. Pull the loop back out a little under Fine tuning.

We couldn't find a spot on this outline to put the keyring loop. We'll place one by hand when we make it.
Logo colours

Each colour of your logo is matched to the nearest filament we print with. It will be close to your colour, not an exact match — pick another if you prefer.

Plate colour

Starts as the colour of your picture's background, which is where the plate shows.

Part of the logo is the same colour as the plate, so it will only show as a raised shape. That's a real look — just check it's the one you want.

Bigger keeps more detail.

Keyring loop

A tall logo hangs straight from the top; a wide one from the left. Either way the size above is the keychain's longest side, loop included.

Fine tuning border, loop, thickness

How much plate sits around the logo. We widen it automatically if the logo needs more to hold together — never narrower than you set.

Hangs off the end Punched into the plate
Loop height

Where it sits along that end. If there's no material at that spot we move it to the nearest one that works.

The finished keychain is mm thick and has no seam. The loop takes a 5 mm hole, which clears a standard split ring or lobster clasp.
