Why loyalty cards work

A loyalty card is the simplest way to turn a first-time buyer into a regular. Here's what one small card does for your shop.

A reason to come back to you

When two shops are just as near, the half-full card in their wallet decides which one they walk into.

Your logo in their wallet

Every time they open it, they see your name. It works long after they leave the counter.

Thank your suki

Regulars notice when you reward them. A free drink or wash says "we know you" better than a sign can.

Nothing to set up

No app, no gadget, no sign-up. Your cashier stamps or signs the card, and that's it.

Cheap to start

From ₱3 a card. The reward is only given after the sales are made.

How they raise your sales

The reward comes after the sales. With "buy 9, get the 10th free", you give one drink away only after nine were paid for. It costs you a little, and only when a customer has already come back nine times.

Customers speed up near the end. A study of a café's coffee card found that people bought more often the closer they got to their free drink. A card that is almost full pulls them back sooner. (Kivetz, Urminsky & Zheng, Journal of Marketing Research, 2006)

Tip: start every card with 2 free stamps. At a carwash, customers given a 10-stamp card with 2 stamps already on it finished it far more often than customers given an empty 8-stamp card: 34% against 19%, for the same 8 washes. (Nunes & Drèze, Journal of Consumer Research, 2006)

Try it with your numbers

The last stamp is the free one, so a 10-stamp card means 9 paid visits.

Sales from one full card
Reward + card cost you
That's this much of the sales

Every customer who fills a card has paid for visits first. The card itself costs from ₱3.

Ideas for your shop

A few ways other kinds of shops set up their rewards. Sample designs for made-up shops; yours carries your own logo and colours.

Cafés & milk tea shops

One stamp per drink. Regulars who already pass by every day pick you over the shop next door.

Salons & barbershops

Fewer stamps, since visits are weeks apart. A free cut or hair spa keeps them from trying someone new.

Laundry shops

One stamp per load. Choose waterproof (laminated) cards: they live next to wet hands and damp bags.

Carwashes

Keeps a car coming back to the same bay every week. Laminated, so a splash won't ruin it.

Bakeries & food stalls

Stamp per amount spent (e.g. every ₱200) rather than per visit, so bigger orders count more.

Water refilling stations

Families refill every few days. A free 10th gallon is cheap for you and keeps them off the other station's list.

Questions

What size are the cards?

Credit-card size, 85.6 × 54 mm, so they fit in any wallet or card holder.

How many do I need to order?

They are printed in hundreds, from 100 pieces. Prices are per 100 pcs and depend on the finish.

Can I use my own design?

Yes. Send a print-ready PDF or PNG at card size and we will check it before printing. No design yet? We make one for free with your logo, colours and reward, and send you a mockup first.

How many stamp boxes should my card have?

Most shops use 6 to 10. Fewer stamps for things people buy every few weeks (haircuts), more for things they buy often (coffee, refills). We fit the boxes to your reward.

Front only or back to back?

Front only puts your logo, reward and stamp boxes on one side. Back to back gives the stamps their own side, with room for your address, opening hours or terms on the other.

Which finish should I choose?

Laminated cards are waterproof and wipe clean, which is worth it for laundry shops, carwashes, salons and food stalls. Unlaminated cards are cheaper and fine for dry counters.

How long does it take?

We send the free mockup within 1–2 business days. Printing takes 7–14 days after you approve the design and the downpayment is in.

Do you issue an official receipt?

Yes. We are registered with the BIR and issue a sales invoice (OR). Tick "We need a BIR sales invoice" on the quote form.

Do you deliver outside Metro Manila?

Yes, nationwide by courier, or pick up your cards at our shop in Caloocan City.
