PNG to SVG
Turn a logo or drawing into a real vector file, with every colour as its own layer. It runs in your own browser — your picture is never uploaded.
A moment on a computer, a few seconds on a phone.
Fewer colours folds similar shades together.
Tap a colour to leave it out of the file.
It is traced on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, and nothing is saved on our servers.
- Use the largest copy of the logo you have.
- Flat colours trace best. Photos and soft shadows come out posterised.
- A PNG with a see-through background needs no clean-up.
Good to know
Is this a real SVG?
Yes. Your picture is traced into shapes drawn with curves and straight lines. Some converters only wrap the original PNG inside an SVG file, which still blurs when enlarged and cannot be cut. This file has no picture in it at all, so it stays sharp at any size.
Will it work with Cricut, Silhouette or a laser?
Yes. Each colour is one layer, named after its colour, so you can show, hide or cut them separately in Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, LightBurn, Inkscape or Illustrator. For a one-colour cut or a stencil, choose "One colour".
Stacked or side by side?
Stacked layers overlap a little under the colours on top, so no thin gaps show between colours — best for screens, printing and layered vinyl. Side by side cuts each colour only where it shows, which uses less material but needs careful lining up.
Why does my photo look posterised?
Tracing turns a picture into a few flat colours, which suits logos and drawings. A photo has thousands of shades, so it comes out like a poster. Try fewer colours for a bold look.
Is it free?
Yes, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit. It runs entirely in your browser.
